Rural Economic Partners of Southwest Idaho (formerly known as the Western Alliance for Economic Development) is a nonprofit organization (501c4) that has been serving rural communities for over 15 years. Our mission is to strengthen and preserve rural communities through collaboration, resource connection, and strategic economic development that supports businesses, agriculture, and long-term community prosperity. Our vision is to create thriving and resilient rural communities where businesses, agriculture, and families prosper together. Rural Economic Partners is governed by a board consisting of a Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary, along with an Executive Director dedicated to supporting our communities through partnerships, advocacy, and resource connection.
